Say: NEE. The joint in the middle of your leg.

Knock
Say: NOK. To hit a door to ask to come in.
Please knock before you enter the staffroom.
Remember: When k comes before n at the start of a word, the k is silent: knife, knee, knock, know, knot. Think: the k is 'knocked out'.
